It may have borrowed many features from Windows Vista however, Windows 7 still introduced new features such as Aero snap, Aero peek, Aero shake, and the new full sized taskbar. All of these aforementioned features are still in Windows today due to the improvements and functionality they provided. Many people still cling onto Windows 7, and it's easy to see why, it was the last Windows operating system truly designed for only desktops in mind.
