We had holes in a few of our windows and a couple of slide doors. While I was re-screening all of them, I decided to make a video on how to replace a screen on a window and a slide door. The window screens are super easy and the screen doors are slightly harder but not too bad either. I used fiberglass fabric so it was easy to work with, aluminum is harder since it is less forgiving and you can't restart if you mess something up. Amazon has a nice little set of everything you need which I only saw after I already finished everything. It has a spline tool for aluminum screens, a spline tool for fiberglass, a roll of spline, a roll of fiberglass screen fabric, a hook, tape measure, and a knife. If you're just starting, this might be a great starter pack for you:
