The Simpsons: Tapped Out was a mobile game that allowed players to create their very own Springfield, from Matt Groening's The Simpsons. You could construct countless iconic, and obscure, Springfield landmarks, take part in special events, quests, and interact with over 831 beloved characters like Homer, Bart, Marge, Maggie and Lisa Simpson.

But recently, there was the official announcement that the game was ending.
But how did it come to this? How did a game that grossed over $200 million dollars, suddenly get cancelled? In this video, we try to answer this very question.
