Despite rebranding to the state it was in prior to merging with Discovery, HBO Max is continuing to purge Cartoon Network from its catalogue as the entire throwback library of classic shows is officially scrubbed from the platform as Courage the Cowardly Dog and What's New Scooby-Doo have been suddenly REMOVED from the streaming service. This is alarming for a few reasons, as those legacy titles currently don't have a streaming home in the USA and competitors such as Netflix, Hulu and Disney Plus are carrying more Cartoon Network shows than the actual parent company, Warner Bros. What does the future hold for Cartoon Network on streaming?
